Service Description

This will be a spin technique focused lyra class. We will go through basic technique and form that you can apply to many different spins. There will also be time spent 1 on 1 working on your own spindividual needs (yes pun intended!). —- Currently based in Japan, Laura is a professional aerialist and dancer originally from New Zealand. She specializes in aerial hoop and hair suspension. Laura was a dancer/aerialist with Royal Caribbean Cruiselines for many years before moving to Osaka and performing as a stuntwoman at Universal Studios Japan. Since leaving USJ she has performed as an aerialist at Theatre 010 Fukuoka, as a guest artist with Virgin Voyages, with dance company The Mayyas in Saudi Arabia, a seasonal show at Trans Studio in Indonesia and has worked on different projects with Cirque Work - a Japan based contemporary circus company. Alongside performing, Laura also has on online aerial hoop teaching platform that focuses on flow and spin. Her style is heavily influenced by her dance background and she loves to teach expressive and smooth flow routines.
